MISSIONS

Reach, Help, Disciple
Reach: Matthew 28:19-20.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age
Help: Isaiah 1: 17
Learn to do right; seek justice.Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless;plead the case of the widow.
Disciple: John 13:34–35
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
50 Villages
In the heart of the Lesotho mountains, there are over 50 villages that are unreached. 50 Villages aims to reach these villages because we believe the Gospel is never out of reach.
Local Church
A church at the heart of the base and community, led largely by local believers. It’s a vital place of worship, discipleship, and connection for the whole village.
Vulnerable Children
Caring for orphans, shepherd boys, and other at‐risk youth by meeting their physical and educational needs and showing them they are loved. This program aims to give the vulnerable children of Lesotho a second chance.
Community
Working together with local families and leaders to build strong, resilient communities through service, listening, and, when needed, providing for their physical needs.
Theological Training
Training mission‐minded believers, equipping them in theology, scripture, and mission so they can serve with wisdom wherever they are called. We believe long-term change comes from equipping the local community.
Sustainable Farming
At Africa for Jesus, we believe agriculture is a powerful tool for long-term sustainability and life-changing discipleship.
All Ministries
We have many ministries and projects. Each ministry and project exists either to fill a need or to disciple & reach the people God called to Himself.
About Us
Steps of Obedience
In 2011 the Mierke family made the decision to move from South Africa to Lesotho.
They knew they were called to ministry, how they would have the resources and
knowledge was yet to be figured out. They simply took a step of obedience.

MISSION TRIPS
Reach, Help, Disciple
Whether you’re an individual volunteer, a family wanting to serve or
a church wanting to arrange a group outreach. Our ministry is open to
all who feel called to be involved.
Volunteering
We have had many volunteers that stayed for weeks or months. These individuals felt called, reached out to us, and we took some time to prayerfully consider the role they could play in the ministry.
If you, too, feel led to volunteer, please reach out to us.
Medium to Long-Term
If you feel called to the mission field for a few months or a year or two, please feel free to reach out. We would never want to interfere with the Lord’s plan for both our ministry and another individual’s personal ministry. Serving medium to long-term can be a great way to get a taste for the mission field and grow in one’s faith.
Group Outreaches & Mission Trips
If you have a group of people who would like to go on a mission trip or you feel led to arrange a mission trip for your church, we would love to work with you to make it happen. Please reach out to us, and we can arrange a call with you and/or your pastor to work on arranging a trip.
VULNERABLE CHILDREN FUND

What $22 a month accomplishes
Education

Clothing
Provides warm clothing, sturdy shoes, and essentials that protect vulnerable children through each season.
50 Villages

Reaching the Unreached
Across Lesotho’s mountains and remote countryside are fifty villages with little to no access to churches, discipleship, or basic humanitarian support. Through the 50 Villages Initiative, local missionaries travel by foot, horseback, and 4×4 to bring the gospel, Bible teaching, and practical care to families who have never been reached before. Each visit strengthens relationships, meets urgent needs, and opens doors for long-term transformation. Join us as we equip leaders, support village outreaches, and share hope where it’s never been heard. Discover the full mission behind the 50 Villages Initiative.
